Profesionālā dzimuma stereotipu ietekme uz spriedumiem par individuālām īpašībām.

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir „Profesionālo dzimuma stereotipu ietekme uz spriedumiem par individuālām īpašībām”. Darbā tiek apskatīts dažādas stereotipu, dzimumu stereotipu definīcijas un jēdzieni, dzimumu atšķirības, lomu – dzimumu lomu teorija, kā arī maskulinitātes jēdziena skaidrojums. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir: noskaidrot, vai noteiktas indivīda īpašības tiek vērtētas savādāk, kad profesionālo vīrieša indivīda lomu aizstāj ar mājsaimnieka – bērnu audzinātāja lomu. Pētījumā piedalījās 80 respondenti – 40 sieviešu dzimuma un 40 vīriešu dzimuma vecumā no 20 līdz 25 gadiem. Speciāli šim pētījumam tika izstrādāta individuāla metode. Tika sacerēti 2 stāsti par Māri, viľa dzīvi un rakstura īpašībām. Respondenti tika sadalīti 2 grupās, kur 1 grupai tika prezentēts stāsts, kura galvenais varonis Māris ir mājsaimnieks – audzina dēlus, turpretī 2 grupai tika prezentēts identisks stāsts, kurā Māris ir priekšnieks savā firmā. Vadoties pēc šī stāsta, respondentiem lūdza atbildēt uz 6 jautājumiem un Likerta sklā novērtēt dažādas 28 īpašības. Atslēgas vārdi: stereotipi, dzimums, lomas.

Theme of author’s bachelor’s paper: „Occupational gender stereotypes influence to the judgments of personal attributes”. The paper examines variety of stereotypes, gender stereotypes definitions and concepts, gender differences, role and gender role theory, as well as the concept of masculinity. Aim of the paper is: clarify, whether certain individual characteristics are valued differently, when a male individual’s proffesional role is replaced by the houseman- the role of children’s governess. In the main research 80 respondents were interviewd – 40 men and 40 woman aged 20 to 25 years. The individually designed method was applied for this research. 2 special story’s was creted about Māris, his life and character attributes. The first group respondents received the story about main character Māris as houseman, while second group received the story where Māris is the boss of his own company. Based on the story, respondents were asked to answer 6 questions and according to the Likert’s scale to assess 28 characteristics. Key words: stereotypes, gender, roles.
