Tajā piedalījās septiņi bērni no kāda Rīgas bērnudārza.
The theme of the Diploma Paper Differentiation and Individualisation to Personalise Learning of English for Young learners at Kindergarten has been chosen because the author of the Paper believes that tasks based on differentiation and individualisation provide a personalised learning of English for young learners at kindergarten.
The research method was a case study. 7 young learners from one of Riga kindergartens participated in the research.
2 data collection methods were used. First, observation was done with the aim to observe young learners` prevailing intelligences as well as their learning styles. Second, a questionnaire, which was prepared for the young learners` parents to gain further insight on the prevailing intelligences of the young learners in question.
The gathered data showed the prevailing intelligences among the young learners. These are: Intrapersonal Intelligence; Spatial Intelligence and Bodily-Kinaesthetic. These Intelligences provide for a dynamic group interaction.
The author of the Paper concludes that differentiation and individualisation enables a more rapid increase in young learners knowledge than a standardized approach would.
