CLIL Sākumskolas skolēnu angļu valodas runāšanas prasmju uzlabošanai neformālajos izglītības apstākļos

Abstract

21. gadsimta Eiropa ir daudzu valodu telpa, kurā cilvēki ar dažādiem mērķiem brīvi pārvietojas starp valstīm. Tas dod vairāk iespēju mācībām un darbam. Vecāki vēlas sagatavot savus bērnus dzīvei mūsdienu sabiedrībā un nodrošināt tiem labāku nākotni, tādēļ viņi vēlas, lai bērni mācītos valodas. Satura un valodas integrēta apguve (CLIL) ir valodu apmācības metode, kas var palīdzēt svešvalodas izpratnes un runāšanas prasmju attīstībai jau pašā mācību sākumposmā. CLIL metodes centrā ir priekšmets, kas ļauj mācīties valodu brīvi, jo pati valoda tiek izmantota kā instruments citu lietu apguvei. Diplomdarbs tika izstrādāts, lai pētītu CLIL potenciālu runāšanas prasmju attīstībā bērniem ar sākotnēju valodas zināšanu līmeni. Lai veiktu pētījumu, šajā diplomdarbā tika izmantotas sekojošās datu vākšanas metodes: novērošana un intervijas. Pētījuma metode ir atsevišķa gadījuma pētīšana. Diplomdarba autore novēroja 6 bērnu grupas, kas apmeklēja CLIL kursus 7 mēnešu laikā, lai noskaidrotu viņu runāša

21st century Europe is a multilingual space where people travel to other countries freely for different purposes. That gives more studying, working and other opportunities. Parents want to prepare their children for the present-day society and ensure a bright future for them, therefore they want them to learn languages. Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) as a language teaching method can help to develop understanding and speaking skills in a foreign language already at quite early stages. In CLIL the focus is on the subject what makes the language learning natural as it is used as a tool in learning other things. The Diploma Paper was written in order to find out how CLIL can develop speaking skills of the primary level children. In order to complete the research of the Diploma Paper the following data collection methods were used: observation and interviews. The method of research is a case study. The author of the Diploma Paper observed 6 groups of children who
