Pētījuma mērķis: 6 – 7 gadu vecu bērnu tēlainās atmiņas izpēte un analīze.
Pētījuma teorētiskajā daļā dota pedagoģiskās un psiholoģiskās literatūras analīze. Dota atmiņas, tās veidu un procesu definīcija. Aprakstīta tēlainās atmiņas nozīme 6 – 7 gadīgiem bērniem un noteiktas tās attīstīšanas metodes.
Pētījuma praktiskajā daļā noteikti 6 – 7 gadīgu bērnu tēlainās atmiņas – redzes un dzirdes – diagnostikas veidi. Ar bērniem, kuri uzrādīja zemus diagnostikas rezultātus, nodarbojās pēc redzes un dzirdes atmiņas attīstošas programmas. Šādu nodarbību rezultātā uzlabojās minēto atmiņas veidu apjoms un noturība. Diagnostikas rezultāti tika apstrādāti. Veikta pētījuma darba analīze un secinājumi. Title of the Paper: Methods of imaginative memory development in 6-7 year-olds.

Aim of the Study: Research and analysis of imaginative memory in 6 to 7 year-old children.
Theoretical Part of the Study contains an analysis of some relevant pedagogical and psychological literature. The author provides definitions of memory, its kinds and processes, explains the importance of imaginative memory for 6-7 year-olds and offers methods of imaginative memory development.
Practical Part of the Study describes types of diagnostics of imaginative memory – vision and hearing – in 6-7 year-olds. The children showing low diagnostic results were subject to a visual and audile memory development program. The program resulted in improvement of the volume and durability of the said kinds of memory. The results of the diagnostics have been processed. The author has made an analysis of the completed research work and provided conclusions.
