dc.description.abstractTēma „Grupu darba izmantošana runašanas prasmju attīstīšanā vidusskolā” bija izveleta, jo musdienu sabiedribā ši tēma ir loti aktuala. Mūsdienās katram modernam cilvēkam ir ieteicami apgut labas anglu valodas runāšanās prasmes veiksmīgai dzīvei. Daudziem skolēniem vienīgā vieta kur vini var attīstīt angļu runašanas prasmes ir anglu valodas stundas un grupu darbs var palīdzēt skolēniem ne tikai attīstīt savas runašanas prasmes bet arī paplašinot viņu spējas sadarboties vienam ar otru. Lai sasniegtu diplomdarba mērķi, autors analizēja literaturu par runāšanās prasmju attīstīšanu un grupu darba izmantošanu vidusskolā. Praktiskajā daļā bija aprakstīts eksperements kurš bija sarīkots Rīgas Purvciema Vidusskolā ar 25 skolēniem. Viena klase pildija runāšanās uzdevumus individuāli un otra klase grupās. Pēc katra uzdevuma skolēni deva atgriezenisko saiti un vēlāk diplomdarba autore izanalizēja atbildes. Informācija bija vakta arī ar anketu palīdzību. 25 skolēni un 10 anglu valodas skolotāji atbildēja uz jautajumiem. Izpētīšanas rezultāti parādīja, kā grupu darbs ir efektīvs veids skolēnu runāšanās prasmju attīstīšanai. To var arī veiksmīgi izmantot lai attīstīt sadarbības prasmes starp skolēniem.Anketu rezultāti paradīja ka skolotāji pozitīvi noskaņoti pret grupu darbu, un vini to izmanto stundās. Skolēnu atbildes parādīja, ka lielākā skolēnu daļa labprat strada grupās. Dazi skolotāji norādīja ka grupu darba laikā var but lielas disciplīnas problēmas un nevienāda darba sadalīšana. Tāpēc skolotājiem vajag dot skaidras instrukcijas. Teoretiskas un praktiskas daļas analizešana paradija ka grupu darbu var veiksmigi izmantot studentu runašanas prasmju attistisanai tāpec ka ta palidz attistit sadarbibas prasmesen_US
dc.description.abstractThe theme of the Diploma Paper “Ways of Using Group Work for Developing Students Speaking Skills in Secondary School” was chosen because of its topicality in nowadays society. Nowadays it is advisable for every modern person to have good English speaking skills for successful life. For many students the only place where they can develop their speaking skills is English lessons and group work can help students not only to develop their speaking skills but also enrich their ability to cooperate with each other. In order to reach the aim of the Diploma Paper the author has analyzed the literature about developing speaking skills and using group work in secondary school in the theoretical part of the work. In the practical part an experiment was made in Rigas Purvciems Secondary School with 25 students. One class of students did speaking tasks individually and the other class in groups. After each task the students gave written feedback by answering several questions about the task and later the data was analyzed by the author. The data was also collected through questionnaires designed for students and for teachers. 25 students from secondary school that took a part in the experiment and 10 English teachers who work with secondary school students answered the questions. The results of the research showed that group work was an effective way for developing students speaking skills. It can also be successfully applied for developing cooperative skills among students. Group work can create an unthreatening atmosphere which can help students to speak more openly. The results of the questionnaires showed that all the teachers are positively regarded for group work, and they use it during their lessons. As for students, the answers showed that majority of students prefer to the tasks in groups. However several teachers pointed out that using group work can cause discipline problems and unequal dividing of duties. That is why teachers have to give clear instructions to students and to monitor the class during the group work The analysis of the theoretical part and practical part showed that group work can be successfully used for developing students speaking skills because it is an effective way for students’ cooperation in none stressful environmenten_US
