Informatīvie teksti skolēnu lasīšanas intereses attīstībai angļu valodā 6.klasē

Abstract

Diplomdarba mērķis ir noskaidrot, kā informatīvo tekstu izmantošana angļu valodas stundās 6. klasē ietekmē skolēnu interesi lasīt. Diplomdarba autore izvēlējās šo tēmu, jo praksē novērojusi, ka skolēni maz lasa ne tikai dzimtajā valodā, bet arī angļu valodā. Atsevišķa gadījuma pētījums tika veikts Bauskas 1. vidusskolā 6. klasē laikā no 3.novembra līdz 18. decembrim. Darba gaitā vispirms tika izpētīta literatūra par lasīšanu ,lasītprasmi un lasāmo tekstu iedalījumu, kā arī par Tad tika analizēti vairāk izmantojamie informatīvie teksti. Pētījuma laikā vispirms tika sagatavota anketa skolēniem, lai noskaidrotu, kāda ir 6. klases skolēnu interese lasīt ne tikai dzimtajā valodā, bet arī angļu valodā. Otra anketa tika izveidota skolotājiem, lai noskaidrot skolotāju viedokli par informatīvo tekstu lomu skolēnu intereses attīstībai par lasīšanu angļu valodā. Pēc lasīšanas uzdevumu, izmantojot informatīvo tekstu veidus, izmēģināšanas praksē tika izveidota anketa skolēniem, lai noskaidrotu, vai, informatīvie teksti attīsta skolēnu interesi par lasīšanu. Skolēni atzina, ka informatīvie teksti attīsta interesi par lasīšanu. Pētījums lika secināt, ka •informatīvie teksti ir gan interesanti, gan noderīgi skolēniem; •informatīvo tekstu daudzveidība ļauj izmantot tos dažādos veidos; •lai skolēni vairāk lasītu, skolēniem ir jāpiedāvā lasīt autentiskus tekstus atbilstoši viņu vecumam un mācību saturam; • ar informatīvo tekstu palīdzību var panākt, ka skolēniem būs nopietnāka attieksme pret lasīšanu; •interesi par lasīšanu var sekmēt informatīvajos tekstos iekļautā informācija.

The aim of the diploma paper ”Informative Texts to Develop Students’ Interest about Reading in English in Form 6” is to find out how the usage of informative texts in the English language lessons in Form 6 influences the students’ interest about reading. The author’s choice of the theme was determined by practical observation, namely, that students are not willing to read not only in their native language but also in English. The research was carried out in Form 6 of Bauska Secondary School No. 1 from 3 November to 18 December. First theoretical literature as regards reading, reading skills and types of texts was investigated by the author. Then the most often used kinds of informative texts developing interest about reading in primary school were analysed by the author. The first questionnaire was formed with the aim to find out the sixth- formers’ interest about reading not only in their mother tongue but also in English. The second questionnaire was formed for teachers in order to find out their opinion about the role of informative texts in developing students’ interest about reading. After completing reading tasks that contain informative texts, students were interviewed again in order to find out whether such texts develop students’ interest about reading. Learners expressed the opinion that informative texts foster their interest about reading. In the process of the research the author has come to the following conclusions: •informative texts are not only interesting but also useful; •reat variety of informative texts provides various ways of their usage; •in order to encourage students to read more and change their attitude to reading they should be offered authentic texts, containing real information, that correspond their age group and content of studies.
