Simbolu un tēlu semantika tetovējumos

Abstract

Pēdējā desmitgadē arī Latvijā, kas ir maza valsts, arvien vairāk sabiedrībā var sastapt cilvēkus ar tetovējumiem. Citiem ir viens attēls, citiem noklāta visa roka, bet citiem drīz jau nebūs, kur kādu jaunu tetovējumu uztaisīt. Tā mūsdienas ir ļoti aktuāla lieta, it sevišķi jauniešu vidū. Tetovēšanai ir ļoti sena un interesanta vēsture, bet kāda tā ir šodien? Kādus tetovējumus izvēlas un kāda ir to tendence? Darba mērķis bija pēc iespējas vairāk uzzināt par tetovējumu vēsturi, to sākotnējo nozīmi un ko tie nozīmē šodien. Pēc kādiem principiem cilvēki izvēlas sev konkrēto tetovējumu un vai viņi zina to simbolisko nozīmi? Pētījuma rezultātā autors secināja – ka tetovēti tiek daudz un dažādi tēli un simboli, bet to vienojošais elements visbiežāk ir rozes ziedi, kas ir izskaidrojams ar vecās skolas popularitātes atgriešanos. Tetovējuma tēls mūsdienās tiek izvēlēts visbiežāk pēc tā izskata un dizaina, tā vēsture un simbolika tiek atstāta otrā vietā. Tetovējumu stili un tēli, kas tiek izmantoti Latvijā, neatšķiras no tiek ko tetovē citās pasaules valstīs, atšķiras tikai cilvēku attieksme pret, ko jaunu un nebijušu. Latvijā cilvēki ir grūtāk ietekmējami uz ko jaunu.

During the last decade in Latvia, the small country as it is, more and more people with tattoos can be met. Some have just a single picture, others have a whole arm covered and some will soon have no spot for a new tattoo. It is a very essential issue nowadays, particularly for young people. Tattooing has a very old and interesting history, but what it is today? What tattoos people choose today and what is the current tendency? The aim of the work is to study the history of tattooing, initial meaning and what tattoos mean today. According to what principles people choose their tattoos today and do they know the symbolic meanings of particular tattoos? As a result of the research, the author concluded that many various characters and symbols are tattooed, but the uniting element, most often, is the rose blossoms, which explain the returning popularity of the old school. Today the tattoo is chosen by the look and design of it, its history and symbolism is secondary. Tattoo stiles and characters that are used in Latvia are not different from tattoos in other countries, the only difference is the attitude to tattoos, something new and different. In Latvia people are more conservative.
