Pedagogu emocionālās inteliģences loma pieaugušo izglītībā.

No indivīda emocionālās inteliģences līmeņa izrietošās emocionālās kompetences palīdz pieaugušo pedagogam izveidot produktīvas attiecības ar pieaugušajiem, radīt veselīgu emocionālo vidi, apmierināt pieaugušo emocionālās vajadzības, dot stimulu tālākai sevis pilnveidošanai. Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, kāda ir pedagogu spēja izmantot emocionālās kompetences pieaugušo mācību procesā. Pētījuma ietvaros tika aptaujāti profesionālās pilnveides kursu dalībnieki, novērotas nodarbības, intervēti pedagogi. Pētījuma rezultāti atklāja, ka pedagogi emocionālās inteliģences lomu pieaugušo izglītībā apzinās, taču emocionālās inteliģences būtība tiek izprasta šauri, darbā ar pieaugušajiem izmantojot tikai atsevišķu jomu emocionālās kompetences. Emocionālo kompetenču plaša izmantošana netiek uzskatīta par būtisku pedagoga darba sastāvdaļu. Emotional competencies stemming from the emotional intelligence level of an individual help the adult teacher to establish productive relationships with adult students, to create an emotionally intelligent environment, to fulfill the emotional needs of adults and encourage their further self-development. The purpose of this thesis was to investigate adult teachers’ ability to use emotional competencies in the classroom. Adult students were asked to fill in a questionnaire, classes were observed and adult teachers were interviewed. The results of the study revealed that teachers are aware of the role of emotional intelligence in adult education. However, the true meaning of emotional intelligence is understood within the narrow sense of the concept. The teachers only use a small range of emotional competencies, and do not call upon the wide and varied use of competencies as an essential part of an adult teacher’s work.
