Skolotāju izglītības attīstība laika posmā no 1970. gada līdz 2013. gadam

Abstract

Katras valsts izglītības sistēmas mērķu īstenošana ir atkarīga no skolotāju kvalifikācijas un profesionalitātes.

Pētījuma TALIS 2013 ietvaros tika izstrādāts maģistra darbs „Skolotāju izglītības attīstība laika posmā no 1970. gada līdz 2013. gadam” ar mērķi izvērtēt skolotāju izglītības attīstību laika posmā no 1970. gada līdz 2013. gadam, lai noteiktu šobrīd skolās strādājošo skolotāju izglītības atbilstību 21. gadsimta prasībām.

Pētījuma rezultāti atklāj, ka Latvijas skolās šobrīd strādājošajiem skolotājiem ir nepieciešamais vai par standartā noteiktajām prasībām augstāks izglītības līmenis, visbiežāk - maģistra grāds, maģistra grādam pielīdzināma izglītība un bakalaura grāds. Padomju laika mācību metodes skolotāju sagatavošanā ir pārveidotas atbilstoši 21. gadsimta prasībām izglītībā. Skolotāji ar padomju laikā iegūto izglītību iekļaujas neatkarīgās Latvijas izglītības sistēmā, liecinot, ka padomju laikā iegūtā skolotāju izglītība kvalitātes ziņā atbilst 21. gadsimta skolotāju izglītības standartiem.

Aims of each education system depend on the teacher qualification and proficiency. Within the framework of TALIS 2013, Master’s thesis "The Development of Teacher Education in the Time Period of 1970 to 2013" was written with the aim to evaluate the development of teacher education in the period from 1970 to 2013 in order to identify currently at school working teacher education accordance with the 21st century education demands.

The results of the Master’s thesis reveal that the Latvian teachers currently working at schools have the required level of teacher education, most commonly - master's degree, education equivalent to master's degree and bachelor's degree. USSR training methods in teacher education have been transformed nowadays in accordance with the 21st century education demands. Teachers with the Soviet time education integrate into the education system of independent Latvia, indicating that the teacher education obtained in the Soviet times corresponds to the 21st century standards of teacher education in terms of quality.
