Demokrātijas attīstība Latīņamerikā 20. gs. otrajā pusē

Abstract

Bakalaura darbs veltīts demokrātijas attīstībai Latīņamerikā. Darbā tiek apskatīts demokrātijas jēdziens un tā izpratne Latīņamerikā. Darbā arī analizēta demokrātijas attīstība visietekmīgākajās Latīņamerikās valstīs un tas, kā šīs valstis nonākušas līdz šīsdienas demokrātijas līmenim. Tiek analizētas arī diktatūras kontinentā, apskatot, kādas tās bija un kā tās ietekmēja demokrātijas attīstību reģionā. Bakalaura darbā aplūkota problēma, vai represijas, kuras īstenoja diktatoriskie režīmi bija attaisnojamas, vai ne. Pētījumā arī aplūkota terorisma problēma, komunisma ideju ietekme un indehenisms, to lomu reģiona sabiedrībā. Darbā izmantoti gan rietumu, pārsvarā Latīņamerikas, un krievu autoru pētījumi , jo Krievijā ir plaša Latīņamerikas pētīšanas tradīcija, kas saglabājusies vēl no padomju perioda. Atšķirībā no PSRS zinātnes Krievijas zinātne tagad nav pārslogota ar ideoloģiju, un to var izmantot, rakstot par šo tēmu. Darbā skarta zinātnes un rūpniecības tēma un parādīts, kā zinātne un rūpniecība var ietekmēt demokrātijas tapšanas procesu. Bakalaura darbā skarta minoritāšu tēma izvirzot hipotēzi, ka ne visi sabiedrības slāņi spēj uztvert demokrātiju, un ir cilvēku grupas, kurām demokrātijas ideja ir pilnīgi sveša, kā piemēram, indiāņi. Darbs ir sabiedriski nozīmīgs un ļoti aktuāls it īpaši šajā laikā, jo pat mūsu valsts nesen atbrīvojās no totalitārisma jūga un cenšas attīstīt demokrātiju, tuvinot to visaugstākajiem rietumu standartiem.

The theme of following bachelor’s work is development of democracy in Latin America. In this work I give the review of the concept of democracy and its understanding in the countries of Latin America. Also in this work I separately analyse the way, how democracy developed in most powerful Latin America’s countries and also how these countries achieved it’s today’s level. . The analysis is given also to the dictatorships on the continent – as an overview of what they were and how they affected democracy development in region. In this bachelor’s work I’m telling about repressions and discussing the question, whether the reprisals practised by dictatorial regimes can be justified, or not. In this research the overview is given also to the problem of terrorism, the influence of communistic ideas and indeanism, its role in the society of region. In the process of work I used the researches of Russian and western – mostly Latin American – authors. Russia has traditions in studying of the countries of Latin America since Soviet Union times. In difference from a science of times of the Soviet Union the Russian science is not overloaded by ideology today, and these sources can be safely used in the process of creation of this work In the given work science and industry themes are mentioned, and is shown, how these two components can affect democracy development. In bachelor’s work also is discussed the problem of national minorities also is, and advanced the following hypothesis - not all social classes are capable to accept democracy, but that there are groups of people for which the idea of democracy is absolutely alien - for example, American Indians. The given work has public value and is especially topical at present moment, as far, as our country not so long time ago was released from totalitarian oppression and tries to develop democracy accordingly to the highest western standards.
