Latvijas un Padomju Krievijas diplomātiskās attiecības 1920.gada augustā – 1922.gada decembrī: Latvijas Sūtniecības Maskavā darbības piemērs

Abstract

Maģistra darba mērķis ir, balstoties uz publicētajiem un nepublicētajiem avotiem, izpētīt un analizēt Latvijas un Padomju Krievijas diplomātiskās attiecības, balstot tās uz Latvijas sūtniecības Maskavā piemēru. Darba hronoloģiskās robežas aptver laika posmu no 1920. gada augustu, kad tika parakstīts Latvijas un Padomju Krievijas miera līgums un nodibinātas abu valstu diplomātiskās attiecības līdz 1922. gada decembrim, kad Padomju Krievija transformējās izveidojot PSRS un abu valstu attiecībās iezīmējās pirmā, dinamiskā posma noslēgums. Darbā ietverts pētījums par padomju diplomātijas pamatprincipiem, Latvijas sūtniecības un konsulāro pārstāvniecību Krievijā izveidi, to sastāvu un galvenajām darbības jomām.

The aim of the masters' dissertation is to research and analyse the diplomatic relations between Latvia and Soviet Russia relying on published and unpublished sources and using the work of the Latvian embassy in Moscow as an example of those relations. The chronological scope of the work is determined by two significant events in the history of diplomacy between the two countries – the signing of the peace agreement between Latvia and Soviet Russia that established the diplomatic relations between the countries in August 1920 and the transformation of Soviet Russia leading to the creation of the Soviet Union in December 1922 that marked the end of the initial dynamic stage of the diplomatic relations between the two sides. The dissertation focuses on the research of the basic principles of Soviet diplomacy as well as the creation, the main areas of work and the consular staff of the Latvian embassy and consulate in Russia.
