VAS "Latvijas Dzelzceļš" darbības problēmu un perspektīvu novērtējums

Abstract

Maģistra darba tēma ir „VAS „Latvijas dzelzceļš” darbības problēmu un perspektīvu novērtējums”. Tas ir veltīts VAS „Latvijas dzelzceļš” darbības analīzei salīdzinājumā ar autotransporta pārvadījumu tirgu, kā arī tā darbības attīstības perspektīvu noteikšanai. Maģistra darbs sastāv no trim nodaļām. Pirmajā nodaļā tiek aplūkoti transporta veidi un to īpatnības, kā arī analizēta tiesiskā bāze, kas regulē transporta nozari Latvijā. Tiek veikta Latvijas sauszemes transporta pārvadājumu tirgus salīdzinošā analīze. Darba otrā nodaļa ir veltīta VAS „Latvijas dzelzceļš” darbības analīzei. Pētīta VAS „Latvijas dzelzceļš” darbības normatīvi tiesiskā bāze un pārvadājumu dinamika, ka arī uzņēmuma darbības iekšēja un ārējā vide. Maģistra darba trešajā nodaļā veikta Latvijas dzelzceļa pārvadājumu tirgus SWOT-analīze, raksturotas tā attīstības perspektīvas ES kontekstā. Maģistra darba apjoms ir 90 lappuses datorsalikumā. Tas satur 6 tabulas un 31 attēlu.

The subject of the master’s paper is “The Evaluation of the Problems and Prospects of SJSC “Latvian Railway” Performance”. It is devoted to the analysis of SJSC “Latvian Railway” activity compared to transportation by motor transport s market and the determination of its development opportunities. The master’s paper consists from three chapters. In the first chapter the means of transport and their particularities are considered as well the legal base, regulating transport branch in Latvia, is considered. A comparative analysis of the segments of Latvian land transportations market is carried out. The second chapter is devoted to the performance of SJSC “Latvian Railway”. The legal base of SJSC “Latvian Railway” and the dynamics of transportations, as well as company’s internal and external environment are researched. In the third chapter of master’s paper SWOT-analysis of railway transportation market of Latvia is carried out and its development opportunities in EU context are characterized. The master’s paper consists from 90 pages and contains 6 tables and 31 figure.
