Maģistra darba tēma ir „Akcīzes nodokļa ietekme uz alkoholisko dzērienu un tabakas patēriņu Latvijā”. Autore: Jeļena Sergejeva.
Akcīzes nodokļa ieņēmumi no alkoholiskiem dzērieniem un tabakas izstrādājumiem aizņem būtisku daļu no valsts kopbudžeta, tomēr šīs preces ir kaitīgas veselībai. Valstij iedzīvotāju labā ir jāierobežo šis produktu patēriņš, bet ierobežošana atspoguļosies gan uz valsts ieņēmumiem, gan uz nelegālo tirdzniecību.
Darbā tiek pētīti pret smēķēšanu vērstie nacionālie stratēģiskie pasākumi, kuru mērķis ir tabakas produktu un alkoholisko dzērienu pieprasījuma samazināšana. Tiek pētīts šo izstrādājumu patēriņš un patērētāju uzvedība. Izpētīta akcīzes nodokļa palielināšanas ietekme uz patēriņu un nelegālo tirdzniecību balstoties uz Latvijas uzņēmumu „X” un „Y” datiem. Novērtēti valsts ieņēmumi līdz un pēc akcīzes nodokļa palielinājuma.

Excise revenue tax of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products occupy a significant portion of the national budget, but these products are harmful to health. In favor of population, country has to limit the consumption of these products, but the limitation will affect on both the revenue and the illegal trade. This work is being studied against smoking focused on national strategic measures aimed at tobacco products and alcoholic drinks in demand of reduction.Explored the excise tax increase impact on consumption and illicit trade based on the Latvian company “X” and “Y”. Estimated Government income before and after excise increase.
