Zusammenfassung
Bakalaura darba mērķis ir pētīt un analizēt Daugavas ielejas pilskalnu arheoloģiskajos izrakumos iegūtos kaula un raga priekšmetus, to izplatību, apstrādes specifiku, paņēmienus un tehnoloģijas, kā arī analizēt kaula un raga priekšmetu vietu un nozīmi vēlā dzelzs laikmeta materiālajā kultūrā.
Darbs sastāv no trim nodaļām: 1. Kaula un raga priekšmeti ar nelielu apstrādi; 2. Kaula un raga priekšmeti ar izteikti dekoratīvu nozīmi un komplicētu apstrādi; 3. Kauls un rags kā izejmateriāls vēlajā dzelzs laikmetā.
Pētījuma rezultātā gūti vairāki nozīmīgi secinājumi par dažādu kaula un raga priekšmetu grupu izplatības likumsakarībām, tipisko apstrādi, nozīmi, kā arī kaula un raga kā izejmateriāla vietu un lomu citu materiālu vidū. The aim of this bachelor is to investigate bone and horn artifacts from hillforts of Daugava valley through analyzing distribution, particularity of processing and technologies of these artifacts and researching signification of bone and horn as a raw material in the late Iron Age.
Bachelor consists of three chapters: 1. Bone and horn artifacts with small processing; 2. Bone and horn artifacts with a strongly decorative meaning and complicated processing; 3. Bone and horn as a raw material in the late Iron Age.
As a result of this research several important conclusions have been done about the coherence of distribution, typical processing, meaning of different bone and horn artifacts, and the role of bone and horn as a raw material between other materials in the late Iron Age.
