Bakalaura darba „Biedrības „Latvijas Vanagi” 1920. – 1940. g.: nozīme un darbība” mērķis bija raksturot biedrības „Latvijas Vanagi” izveidi, darbības pamatprincipus un virzienus 1920. – 1940. g.” Vanagi bija nacionāla organizācija, kas par savu uzdevumu bija izvirzījusi apmācīt militāri, fiziski un garīgi jauniešus, kas stāsies aizsargu rindās. Biedrības devums netika pietiekami novērtēts un tās darbību valsts finansiāli neatbalstīja. Īpaši tika novērtēta vanagu fiziskā sagatavotība, kas tieši pietrūka armijā. 1939. gadā biedrībā darbojās 15 000 biedru. Vanagi bija viena no svarīgākajām organizācijām, kas veicināja sabiedrības jaunatnes daļas stiprināšanu. The aim of the undergraduate thesis „Significance and operation of the society „Latvijas Vanagi” in the period between 1920 and 1940” was to characterize formation of the societu „Latvijas Vanagi”, the basic principles and the directions of its operation between 1920 and 1940. Latvijas Vanagi was the national organization which had set a target to train military, physically and mentally youth that will join the home militia defender numbers. Only after the 1934 the role of the organization in the defense increased. Particularly was valuated physical fitness of members of society „Latvijas Vanagi” what was something missing in the army. In 1939 in the society were engaged 15 000 members. „Latvijas Vanagi” is one of the most significant organizations that furthered the strengthening of the youth part of the society.
