Sociālās pārmaiņas Austrumlatvijā 12.gs. beigās – 13.gs. pirmajā pusē

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā „Sociālās pārmaiņas Austrumlatvijā 12. gadsimta beigās – 13. gadsimta pirmajā pusē” autore ir atspoguļojusi sociālos procesus Latvijas teritorijas austrumu daļā, kuri bija cieši saistīti ar latīņu kristīgās Eiropas pārstāvju aktivitātēm. Analīze balstīta uz 13. gadsimta rakstīto avotu ziņām un liecībām, kas iegūtas arheoloģisko pētījumu rezultātā dažādās vēlā dzelzs laikmeta un viduslaiku arheoloģiskajās vietās Austrumlatvijā. Darbā raksturota jaunās varas un pārvaldes organizēšanas process krusta karu laikmeta sākumā un ar to cieši saistītie kristianizācijas centieni un to rezultāti, kā arī analizētas sociālās un politiskās transformācijas vietējā līmenī un izvērtēts jautājums par pēctecību vietējo sabiedrību organizācijā no aizvēstures perioda.

In her Bachelor thesis „Social transformations in Eastern Latvia in the late 12th and first half of the 13th century” the author has reflected social processes in the Eastern part of the territory of Latvia, which were closely connected with the activities of agents of the latin Christiendom. The analysis is based on the 13th century written sources and on the evidence obtained in the results of archaeological research done in different Late Iron Age and Medieval archaeological sites in Eastern Latvia. The paper describes the process of organizing the new power and government in the beginning of the crusade era and the closely connected efforts of Chritianization and their results, also the social and political transformations at the local level have been analysed, and the question of continuity from the prehistoric period in the local social organization has been evaluated.
