Arheoloģiskais mantojums un tā izpēte Talsu novadā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba temats ir „Arheoloģiskais mantojums un tā izpēte Talsu novadā.” Mūsdienās kā Talsu novadā, tā arī citur arheoloģiskais mantojums ir nozīmīgs kultūrvēsturiskā, neatņemama ainavas un kopēja pasaules kultūras mantojuma sastāvdaļa, kas prasa izpēti un saglabāšanu. Līdz ar to vispirms – tā lokālu analīzi noteiktas mūsdienu administratīvās vienības ietvaros. Darba mērķis ir apkopot informāciju un iepazīties ar arheoloģisko mantojumu un tā izpēti Talsu novadā. Lai to sasniegtu, tika izvirzīti vairāki uzdevumi - sniegt vispārīgu priekšstatu par to, kādi arheoloģiskie pieminekļi ir sastopami Talsu novadā un pamatojoties uz avotiem un literatūru, aplūkot arheoloģisko pieminekļu izpētes vēsturi novadā, Latvijas arheoloģiskās izpētes vēstures kontekstā. Darba pirmā nodaļa ir veltīta senvietu daudzveidībai Talsu novadā. Nodaļa ir sadalīta vairākās apakšnodaļās, tādējādi sadalot plašo arheoloģisko mantojumu sīkākās vienībās – dzīvesvietas, apbedījumu vietas, kulta vietas. Darba otrā nodaļa ir veltīta Talsu novada arheoloģiskajai izpētei. Tā ietver vairākās apakšnodaļās, tādējādi iedalot Talsu un Latvijas arheoloģijas izpētes vēsturi vairākos posmos - Krievijas impērijas laiks - 19. gs. - 1914. gads, Latvijas Republikas laiks - 1918. - 1940. gads, Latvijas okupācijas laiks - 1940. jūnijs - 1991. gads un atjaunotās Latvijas Republikas laiks, kopš 1991. gada. Darbā apkopojot un vispārinot, secināts, ka novadā ir 85 senvietas, to skaitā 2 apmetnes, 10 pilskalni, 43 senkapi, 14 kapsētas un 13 kulta vietas. Kas attiecas uz arheoloģisko izpēti, tad salīdzinot ar citiem novadiem Latvijā, arheoloģiskā izpēte 19. un 20. gs. pirmajā pusē šeit notikusi mazāk, tādēļ 20. gs. otrajā pusē apzināšanas un izrakumu darbu skaits palielinās, savukārt, 21. gs. turpinās.

Bachelor's work deals with the “Archaeological heritage and its research in Talsi District.” Today, the Talsi district, as well as elsewhere in the archaeological heritage is an important cultural, landscape and an integral part of a common world cultural heritages, which requires research and conservation. And so - a local analysis identified within the contemporary administrative units. The goal is to gather information and learn about archaeological heritage and the study of the Talsi district. To achieve this, it raised a number of challenges - to provide a general idea of what the archaeological monuments are found in the Talsi district, and based on sources and literature, look at the archaeological monuments in the history of exploration County, Latvian archaeological research in the context of history. The first chapter is devoted to diversity old Talsi district. Chapter is divided into several sections, thus dividing the vast archaeological heritage into the smallest units - the place of residence, burial grounds, cult places. The second chapter is devoted to archaeological studies in the Talsi district. Section includes several subsections, so, and divides Talsi Latvian archaeological research history in several stages - the Russian Empire in time - the 19th century. - 1914th Year, the Latvian Republic Time - 1918th - 1940. year, the Latvian Occupation Time - 1940. June - 1991st year and the renewed Latvian Republic time, since 1991. year. The conclusion in this work is that, the in district Talsi are 85 old places. Including the 2 settlements, 10 hillforts, 43 ancient burial ground, 14 cemeteries and 13 cult places. As for the archaeological study comparing to other provinces of Latvia, there were less archaeological exploration at 19th and the first half of 20. century. Therefore at the second half of20th century ,the preliminary expeditions and excavations in the number continues to grow and in 21. century explorations continues.
