Apgādes ar pārtiku atspoguļojums latviešu leģionāru atmiņās

Abstract

Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot apgādes ar pārtiku atspoguļojumu bijušo leģionāru atmiņās, par pamatu ņemot pašu leģionāru sarakstītās atmiņas, vai arī darbus, kuros ir publicētas viņu atmiņas. Šī tēma Latvijā pagaidām nopietni nav pētīta. Darba hronoloģiskās robežas ir no 1943. gada, kad tika izdota pavēle par Latviešu leģiona izveidošanu, līdz 1945. gada maijam, kad beidzās karš. Krievijas karalaukos no 1943. gada līdz 1944. gada vasarai raksturīgs tas, ka ar apgādi ar pārtiku lielu problēmu nebija, jo fronte bija stabila, arī Vācijas armija vēl bija samērā labi kaujas spējīga. Latvijas teritorijā apgādi ar pārtiku var iedalīt divos posmos – no 1944. gada vasaras līdz 1944. gada oktobrim, un no 1944. gada oktobra līdz 1945. gada maijam. Pārējā Eiropā 1944. gadā uzturu ieguva pārsvarā apzogot civiliedzīvotāju laukus, bet no 1945. gada, kad cīņas notika jau Vācijas teritorijā, apgādes vairs nebija praktiski nekādas, sākās apkārtējo māju pārmeklēšana, dažreiz tika lietoti draudi un vardarbība. Raksturīgs nepietiekams uzturs, arī bads.

The goal of this research was to determine depiction of supplying the food provisions to the Legionnaires as basis taking memories written by Legionaries themselves or works in which these memories are published. This topic is not yet thoroughly researched yet. The chronological boundaries for this research are from year 1943, when the order of formation of Latvian Legion was issued till May 1945, when the war ended. On Russian battlefields from 1943 till summer of 1944 it is characteristic that there were no major problems with provisions since the front line was stable and also Germany’s army was still in relatively good fighting condition. In the territory of Latvia supplying the provision can be divided in two parts from summer of 1944 till October of 1944 and from October of 1944 till May of 1945. In the rest of Europe in 1944 the provisions were obtained by stealing it from the civilian fields but starting with 1945 when the battles were already taking place on German soil there was practically no supplying of the provisions and the plundering of the nearby houses started sometimes the threats and violence were employed. Insufficient sustenance and famine was characteristic at that time.
