Abstract

Bakalaura darbs „Afganistānas un PSRS konflikts 1979. - 1989. gadā: Galvenie posmi” veltīts notikumiem, kas noveda pie karadarbības Afganistānā, pašas karadarbī-bas un notikumiem, kas beigās noveda pie PSRS spēku izvešanas no Afganistānas, jo šī tēma ir aktuāla arī mūsdienās, tāpēc tās izpēte sniegs ieskatu iespējamajā notikumu at-tīstībā Afganistānā pašreiz. Darba mērķis ir apskatīt militāri politisko notikumu gaitu un attīstību katrā konkrētajā periodā. Darbs sniedz ieskatu notikumos, kas veidoja Aukstā kara noslēgumu, ļaujot iz-prast šo notikumu dinamiku un ietekmi uz procesiem kopumā.

The bachelor thesis „Afghanistan and USSR conflict 1979 – 1989: Main stages.” is dedicated to events which lead up to war in Afghanistan, the warfare itself and events which eventually led to withdrawal of USSR forces from Afghanistan, because this issue is still current nowadays this research will give insight in probable development of situation in Afghanistan. The goal of research is to examine the course and development of military and political events in each particular period. This paper gives insight in events which formed the end of Cold war, and enable to figure out dynamics and influence of these events on overall process.
