Eiropeiskās identitātes veidošana kopējo vērtību kontekstā

Abstract

Maģistra darbā kopējās eiropeiskās identitātes veidošanās tiek aplūkota vērtību kontekstā, kas, pēc autores domām, ir viens no svarīgākajiem identitātes veidošanās aspektiem, jo kopīgas vērtības veicina vienotību un piederības sajūtu savai kopienai. Īpaša uzmanība darbā tiek veltīta Mēs un Citi attiecību izpratnei, kurai ir būtiska nozīme identitātes noteikšanā, kas pasvītro to, ka vērtībām, kā vienam no identitātes pamatiem, ir ne tikai vienojoša, bet arī nošķiroša funkcija. Mūsdienās eiropeiskā identitāte galvenokārt izpauţas principā „Vienotība daudzveidībā”, kas ir saistīts ar Eiropas Savienības nodibināšanu, un ir viens no būtiskākiem aspektiem Eiropas Savienības integrācijas procesos. Eiropeiskās identitātes veidošanās ir viens no svarīgākiem noteikumiem veiksmīgam Eiropas Savienības integrācijas procesam un to efektīvai funkcionēšanai.

In the master's thesis, the formation common European identity is examined in the context of values, which, in the author's opinion, is one of the most important aspects of identity formation as common values of promote unity and the sense of belonging to the community. Particular attention is devoted to the understanding of relations between “we” and “others”, which is crucial for determination of identity and underscores the fact that values, as one of the foundations of identity, have not only a unifying, but also a divisive function. Nowadays, European identity primarily expressed in the principle 'Unity in Diversity',which is related to the establishment of the European Union, and is one of the most important aspects of the European integration process. The formation of European identity is one of the most important prerequisites for a successful European integration process and its effective functioning.
