Vēsturiskie sižeti latviešu padomju glezniecībā (1944 - 1956)

Abstract

Nonākot Padomju Savienības sastāvā, Latvijā padomju vara stingri noteica, kādai jābūt padomju mākslai un no šiem principiem atkāpties nedrīkstēja. Atbilstoši padomju ideoloģijai tika pārvērtēta arī Latvijas vēsture, akcentējot revolucionāro vēsturi un krievu tautas lielo ietekmi. Šāda dogmatiska vēstures izpratne arī izpaudās latviešu padomju vēsturiskajā glezniecībā, kura spilgti raksturo pētāmā laikmeta raksturu. Pētījuma mērķis ir analizēt Latvijas vēstures atspoguļojumu un tā īpatnības latviešu un Latvijā darbojošos mākslinieku gleznās no 1944. līdz 1956. gadam. Iegūtie rezultāti liecina, ka latviešu padomju vēsturiskajai glezniecībai raksturīga revolucionārās vēstures dominance, šķiru cīņu atspoguļojums un krievu tautas nopelni latviešu tautas vēsturē un attīstībā.

When the Republic of Latvia was incorporated in the U.S.S.R., the Latvian Soviet government stated very strictly the requirements of the Soviet art. According to the Soviet ideology, the history of the Republic of Latvia was revalued emphasizing the revolutionary history and the influence of the Russian nation. Such dogmatic comprehension of the history was expressed in the Latvian Soviet painting which reveals very remarkably the characteristics of the period under analysis. The aim of the research is to analyze the representation of the Latvian hisory and its peculiarities in the paintings of Latvian painters and artists who performed in the Republic of Latvia from 1944 to 1956. The results of the research illustrate that typical features of the Soviet Latvian historical painting are as follows: the dominance of the revolutionary history, class struggle and the merit of the Russian nation in the Latvian history and development.
