Zusammenfassung
Šajā bakalaura darbā tiek analizēta stoiķu determinisma un cilvēka kauzālās autonomijas savienojamības problēma. Tiek aplūkoti agrīno stoiķu priekšstati par likteni – universālo kauzāli-teleoloģisko determinismu, cēlonību un cilvēka un viņa darbības vietu stoiķu kosmosā. Galvenā uzmanība tiek pievērsta jautājumam par to, vai stoiķu determinētajā kosmosā, kurā valda nepieciešamība, ir iespējama cilvēka kā darbības subjekta autonomija.
Stoiķu mēģinājums apvienot visa kosmosā notiekošā kauzālās determinētības ideju ar cilvēka brīvības ideju tiek salīdzināts ar mūsdienu kompatibilistu pieejām determinisma un gribas brīvības savienojamības problēmas risinājumā.

The topics discussed in this work are stoic conception of fate, or universal causal and teleological determinism, stoic conception of causation and the place of human beings and human action within the stoic cosmos. The main attention is devoted to the question of whether human, or agent autonomy is possible within the deterministic stoic cosmos which is governed by universal necessity.
The stoic attempt to reconcile the idea of universal determinism and the idea of human freedom is compared with several approaches to the problem of reconciling determinisms and freedom of the will offered by the contemporary compatibilists.
