Dekolonizācija un Rietumvalstis: izgaismojums vēstures literatūrā.

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā „Dekolonizācija un Rietumvalstis: izgaismojums vēstures literatūrā” tiek pētīta dekolonizācijas procesa gaita un tā atspoguļojums. Darba hronoloģiskās robežas ir no 1935.gada janvāra līdz 1980.gada aprīlim, kuras sākumpunkts ir Lielbritānijā akceptētā Indijas konstitūcija, kura aizsāka Indijas ceļu pretī neatkarībai, un noslēdzas 1980. gada aprīlī Nigērijas galvaspilsētā, ar pieņemto Lagosas Darbības plānu, kurš iezīmēja turpmāko Āfrikas valstu attīstības ceļu. Darbā tiks attēloti dekolonizācijas procesa cēloņi, nacionālo atbrīvošanās kustību ceļš pretī neatkarībai, metropoļu reakcija un dekolonizācijas procesa izraisītās sekas.

The bachelor thesis „Decolonisation and Western Powers: Reflection in the History Literature” explores the process of decolonization and its reflection. The chronological boundary of the work is from January 1935 till April 1980. The starting point is the constitution of India that is approved by the United Kingdom which started the path of independence of India. The period ended in April 1980 with the Lagos Plan of Action that was approved in the capital of Nigeria and which outlined the future development of African countries. The thesis describes the causes of decolonization process, the journey of national liberation movement towards independence, the reaction of metropolises and the consequences of the decolonization process.
