Bakalaura darbs „Sakrālās arhitektūras pieminekļu aizsardzība un izmantošana Latvijas PSR, 1944. – 1991. gadā” rakstīts ar mērķi izpētīt Latvijas PSR tiesisko un reālo attieksmi pret sakrālās arhitektūras pieminekļiem.
Darbs sastāv no ievada, avotu un literatūras apskata, trīs nodaļām un secinājumiem. Pirmajā nodaļā analizēta likumiskā bāze arhitektūras pieminekļu aizsardzībai un likumu izpildi kontrolējošās iestādes. Otrajā nodaļā aprakstīta arhitektūras pieminekļu sarakstu veidošana un analizēti kritēriji sakrālās arhitektūras iekļaušanai pieminekļu sarakstos. Trešā nodaļā aprakstīti sakrālās arhitektūras pieminekļu izmantošanas veidi un analizēta to atbilstība likumiem. The purpose of the thesis " The Protection of Sacral Buildings as Architectural Heritage Objects in Latvian SSR, 1944 – 1991" is to research both the legal and the actual regard towards the monuments of sacred architecture in Soviet Latvia.
The paper consists of an introduction, a review of the sources and literature used, three chapters and the conclusion. In the first chapter the legal basis of the protection of architectural monuments and the responsible institutions are discussed. The next chapter focuses on the formation of the register of architectural monuments. Furthermore it discusses the criteria used for determining the incorporation of particular architectural objects in the register of sacred architecture monuments. The third chapter describes the actual usage of the monuments of sacred architecture and analyses the contingency of this usage with the legislation enforced at the time.
