Kritiskās domāšanas izpratne pragmatisma izglītības filozofijā

Abstract

Darbā „Kritiskās domāšanas izpratne pragmatisma izglītības filozofijā” tiek risināts jautājums par kritiskās domāšanas attīstību – tās ģenēzi apgaismības laikmetā un nozīmi pragmatiķu filozofijā, kura aktualitāti nezaudē arī 21. gadsimtā. To apliecina pāris minētie piemēri, kas atspoguļo kritiskās domāšanas metožu trūkumu izglītības sistēmā. Būtiska darba daļa ir otrajā nodaļā aplūkotās Džona Djūija idejas par izglītības filozofijas attīstību. Tieši Džons Djūijs uzskatāms par kritiskās domāšanas koncepta ieviesēju pragmatisma filozofijā. Turklāt tiek secināts, ka viņa idejas joprojām ir aktuāls.

In the paper „The Understanding of Critical Thinking in the Pragmatism Philosophy of Education” are covered such an issues as the development of critical thinking and its genesis of the Enlightenment and it’s role of pragmatists in philosophy, which does not lose relevance in the 21st century. This is evidenced by a couple of examples, which reflects the lack of critical thinking techniques in the system of education. A significant part of this paper is the second chapter where the ideas of John Dewey’s philosophy of education and it’s development are described. John Dewey is considered to be an author of the concept of critical thinking in the philosophy of pragmatism. Besides it’s came to a conclusion that his ideas are outstanding nowadays too.
