Varas fenomens : patības un pārvaldības attiecības M. Fuko filozofijā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izprast Mišela Fuko skatījumu uz varas fenomenu un tā saistību ar patību un pārvaldību, veicot konceptu analīzi un ilustrējot to ar aktuāliem piemēriem izglītībā un mediju konstruētā realitātē. Galveno secinājumu būtību izsaka Fuko atziņa, ka vara ir perspektīvas jēdziens, situatīva stratēģija un attiecības starp spēkiem, kas izpaužas patības un pārvaldības attiecībās, un ka cilvēka brīvība ir praktizējama, nevis iegūstama. Bakalaura darba ietvaros ir aplūkota varas, patības un pārvaldības problemātika vairāku Fuko monogrāfiju un interviju tulkojumos, kā arī viņa viedokļa interpretācijas sekundārajā literatūrā, veidojot Fuko ideju sasaiste ar jaunajām mediju teorijām un pārmaiņām publiskajā sfērā, kas saistītas ar informatizāciju un globalizāciju.

Bachelor's thesis aims to explore Foucault's perspective on the phenomenon of power and its relation to the self and governance, by exemplifying it with some current trends in education and media constructed reality. Foulcault’s acknowledgement that power in its nature is the concept of the perspective, situated strategy, that, by reproducing itself, appears in any relation of the self and governance, and freedom have to be practiced, not attained, frames the main conclusion of the study. Translated versions of several Foulcault’s monographs and multiple interviews well as various interpretations of his viewpoint in secondary literature are used for exploration the problem of power, the self and governance during the study, and Foucault's ideas of power relations are linked to new media theories and changes in the public sphere, associated with globalization and informatization in the concluding part of the thesis.
