Darbs ir par ‘’Raganu Vesera’’ idejām teorijās par burvjiem un raganām Latvijā, tiek sniegts apraksts par H. Samsona un P. Einhorna darbos sniegto pamatojumu šīm raganu vajāšanām un tiek aplūkots kādi Eiropā plaši pazīstami darbi un traktāti ietekmējuši šos uzskatus. Kas veicinājis šo ideju ieceļošanu un nostiprināšanos. Tiek aprakstīta arī šo prāvu norise un kādas metodes izmantotas, lai iegūtu atzīšanos. Kā kristietības ietekmē mainījušies baltu tautu uzskati par raganām, kādas tās bija folklorā. Aplūkota arī raganas kā simboliska tēla nozīme mūsdienās. The paper is about the ideas of Malleus Maleficarum in the theories about sorcers and witches in Latvia: P. Einhorn and H. Samson, it gives a description of the intellectual foundations of these witch hunts, given in the works of H. Samson and P. Einhorn, and also of the works and tractates widely known in Europe that have been used in the forming of these viewpoints. What has influenced the ‘’immigration’’ and establishment of these ideas. It also depicts the process of these trials and the methods used to make a person confess. What were the beliefs of the Baltic nations regarding witches and how have they changed due to the influence of Christianity, how they were depicted in folklore. It also gives a view on witches as a widely known symbolic form in modern days.
