Bakalaura darba galvenais mērķis ir izpētīt Starptautiskā valūtas tirgus darbību finanšu krīzes apstākļos. Lai sasniegtu mērķi, autors izvirzīja sekojošus uzdevumus: identificēt Starptautiskā valūtas tirgus funkcionēšanas īpašības finanšu krīzes laikā, noteikt, kādi faktori sekmēja izmaiņas tirgus darbībā, kā arī izstrādāt rekomendācijas valūtu risku minimizēšanai. Pētījuma gaitā tika veikta Starptautiskā valūtas tirgus teorētisku pamatu analīze, noteikti 2007.-... gadu pasaules finanšu krīzes cēloņi, attīstības mehānismi un sekas, kā arī izpētīta krīzes tieša ietekme uz Starptautiskā valūtas tirgus darbību. Darbā ir sniegtas rekomendācijas valūtu risku minimizēšanai darbojoties Starptautiskajā valūtas tirgū finanšu krīzes laikā. The main goal of the bachelor dissertation is to research the Foreign Exchange market in the time of the financial crisis. To reach this goal the author has set the following tasks: to identify Forex market’s key characteristics in the time of the financial crisis, to determine the factors that influenced changes in the market, and to give recommendations for reducing currency risks. The author has analyzed theoretical background of the Forex market, determined causes, course of development and consequences of the ongoing financial crisis, as well, researched the direct impact of the crisis on the Forex market. Recommendations for reducing currency risks are provided.
