Bakalaura darba tēma ir „Mārketinga komunikācijas un to pilnveidošana uzņēmumā “OTTO katalogshop””.Bakalaura darbs sastāv no trim nodaļām. Pirmajā nodaļā no teorētiskā viedokļa, tiek izpētīts tāds mārketinga jēdziens, kā mārketinga komunikācijas. Detalizēti tiek izpētītās mārketinga komunikācijas sastāvdāļas – reklāma, sabiedriskās saskares, produktu realizācijas veicināšana, personiska apkalpošana un tiešais mārketings. Otrajā nodaļā, kā piemēru autore izvēlas uzņēmumu „OTTO katalogshop” un izpēta tās mārketingā aktivitātes, pamatojoties uz teoriju no bakalaura darba pirmās daļas. Trešajā nodaļā, autore veic pētījumu ar mērķi uzzināt patērētāju viedokļus par uzņēmuma darbību, reklāmu un apkalpošanu.Balstoties uz iegūto informāciju, tiek izteikti secinājumi un autore izsaka savus ieteikumus, lai mainītu situāciju. Bakalaura darbs sastāv no 91 lapām, 11 tabulām,29 attēliem un 6 pielikumiem.

The theme of this bachelor’s paper is “Marketing communications and their improvement within the company “OTTO katalogshop””. The paper consists of three parts. The first part considers the theoretical aspects of marketing communications. Such components of marketing as advertising, public relations, sales promotions, personal selling and direct marketing. The second part the author has selected “OTTO” company to analyze its marketing activity based on the theory chosen in the first part of the paper. To produce the third part of this paper the author has undertaken an analytical field research with the aim to gather independent views of consumers about this particular company’s work, service and advertising.Based on the accumulated information and gathered knowledge the author offers her propositions to change the current situation for the better.
