Bakalaura darba „Starptautiskās bērnu un jauniešu nometnes kā sociālais tūrisms” autore ir Ilze Pildiņa. Bakalaura darba problēma ir steidzamā nepieciešamība veidot plašāku sociālā tūrisma piedāvājumu, lai apmierinātu patstāvīgi pieaugošās mērķa grupas vajadzības. Šobrīd ne Latvijas lielākās tūrisma organizācijas, ne par tūrismu atbildīgās valsts iestādes neveicina sociālā tūrisma izaugsmi. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir sekmēt sociālā tūrisma izaugsmi, izveidojot jaunu starptautiskas bērnu un jauniešu sociālās nometnes projektu. Viens no bakalaura darba uzdevumiem ir apkopot pieejamo informāciju par Latvijā organizētām nometnēm un noskaidrot ārzemju tūristu vēlmi piedalīties Latvijā organizētās starptautiskās nometnēs. Bakalaura darba rezultātā radies jauns sociālā tūrisma produkts - starptautiskās bērnu un jauniešu sociālās nometnes projekts “ Create Yourself”, kas ar sponsoru palīdzību varētu tikt realizēts. Ilze Pildina is the author of the bachelor paper “International children and youth camps as social tourism”. The problem posed by the bachelor paper is the urgent need to improve offerings of the social tourism in order to satisfy needs of the constantly growing target audience. At the moment neither the main tourism organizations in Latvia nor government institutions in charge of the tourism are supporting the growth of social tourism. The goal of the bachelor paper is to positively impact the growth of social tourism by creating brand new international children and youth social camp project. The bachelor paper’s objectives is to gather the available information about camps organized in Latvia and to find out if foreign tourists would like to take part in international camps, organized in Latvia.
