Zur LanganzeigeZusammenfassung
Pēdējos gados oglekļa materiālus arvien plašāk izmanto būvniecībā un lidaparātu ražošanā pateicoties to augstajai mehāniskajai izturībai.
Šajā darbā tiek pārbaudītas no jaunā materiāla gatavotu paraugu mehāniskās īpašības.
In the last years the carbon fiber composite materials have been intensively used in construction and airspace industry for their high mechanical strength. However, the cost of manufacturing still is a critical issue for composites. New technologies have been developed to reduce the cost and simplify the manufacturing process. One of the possible methods is the new “binder yarn” material – pre-impregnated carbon fibers with polymer binder. This material combines both prepreg and liquid resin moulding technologies. The pre-impregnated carbon fibers can be repeatedly activated, using heat, microwaves or ultrasound and shaped prior resin infusion.
In this work the mechanical properties of the specimens made from new material have been investigated. Critical energy release rate and interlaminar shear
strength have been experimentally measured for the specimens produced with different applied pressure and activation temperature combinations.
