Abstract

Bakalaura darbā “Demoģeogrāfiskie procesi Balvos” tika veikts pētījums par Balvu pilsētas iedzīvotāju svarīgākajiem demogrāfiskajiem procesiem, dzīves un darbības telpas izpēti. Ar katru gadu Latvijā ir novērojama iedzīvotāju depopulācija. Demogrāfiskā situācija, kāda ir valstī, satrauc ne tikai zinātniekus un politiķus, bet arī visus valsts iedzīvotājus. Kopš Latvijas neatkarības atjaunošanas katru gadu sarūk iedzīvotāju skaits, kā arī veidojas liels bezdarba līmenis. Balvu pilsēta īpaši neatšķiras no citām Latvijas pilsētām saistībā ar demogrāfiskajiem procesiem. Bakalaura darbā pēc veiktā pētījuma tiek secināts, ka Balvu pilsētā ir novērojama iedzīvotāju depopulācija gan mehāniskās, gan dabiskās kustības rezultātā, tāpat kā visā valstī. Lielākā problēma gan Balvu pilsētā, gan valstī ir dzimstības samazināšanās un mirstības pieaugums, tā rezultātā samazinās bērnu īpatsvars un pieaug veco cilvēku skaits. Bezdarbs skāris daudzus pilsētas iedzīvotājus, jo trūkst darba piedāvājuma un tajā pašā laikā ir grūtības atrast kvalificētu darbaspēku. Problēma ir asa un ļoti sarežģīta, bet tomēr risināma. Iedzīvotāji labprāt vēlētos sasniegt augstu labklājības līmeni, tāpēc ir svarīgi iegūt labu izglītību un labi atalgotu darbu ar piemērotu specialitāti. Balvu pilsētā ir nodrošināta daudzpusīga izglītības pieejamība ar iespēju iegūt labu vispārējo izglītību un tālākizglītību, bet, meklējot labi atalgotu darbu, jauni cilvēki bieži vien no pilsētas aizbrauc. The bachelor work “Demogeographical at Balvi” deals with the research regarding the population’s the most remarkable demographic processes and its spheres of life. Every year Latvia has a tendency of the depopulation. The demographic situation of the country concerns not only scholars or politicians, but also the inhabitants. Since Latvia has regained its freedom, every year the amount of the population decreases, and the unemployment rate increases rapidly. The demographical situation in Balvi is quite similar to the existing ones in other cities of the country. According to the findings of the paper, it is clearly observed that the population of the city decreases as a result of the mechanical and natural processes. The major problem in Balvi, as well as in the whole country, is the decrease of the birthrate and the increase of the death-rate; thus, the proportion of the children decreases, and the amount of old people increases. Unemployment. It has affected many people in the city because of the lack of working places, and, at the same time, because of the impossibility to find well-qualified workforce. Undoubtedly, the problem is complicated, but still there are ways of finding the solution. Naturally, the inhabitants would like to achieve the improvement of well-being, that is why it is highly important to get a good education and a well-paid job and to work in a relevant sphere. In fact, Balvi provides various options for a good secondary or further education, but, searching for better job, young people more often leave the city.
