Maģistra darbs Mīlestības jēdziens Ali Smitas īso stāstu krājumā “Brīvā mīlestība” analizē mīlestības jēdziena atspoguļojumu šajā grāmatā. Analīzes nodrošināšanai darbs ir veidots no divām nodaļām. Pirmajā nodaļā pētīta stāstu un stāstniecības jēga un funkcijas visos to aspektos. Otrā nodaļa veltīta sešu grāmatā iekļauto stāstu analīzei, pēc kuras seko veiktās analīzes secinājumi. Lai nodrošinātu pilnīgu tekstu izpratni, maģidstra darba I. pielikumā ir sniegti detalizēti īso stāstu kopsavilkumi.

In order to carry out the task, the Master’s Paper is divided into two chapters. The first chapter explores the meaning and functions of stories and storytelling of all its aspects. The second chapter is dedicated to the analysis of six stories from the short story collection, followed by conclusions of the analysis. In order to promote full understanding of the analyzed texts detailed summaries of the stories is given in the Appendix 1 of the paper.
