Šis bakalaura darbs ar virsrakstu “Emīlijas Brontē romāna “Kalnu Aukas” un Šarlotes Brontē romāna “Džeina Eira” vēstījuma stratēģiju salīdzinoša analīze” analizē divus romānus, kas ir balstīti uz līdzīgām vēstījuma īpatnībām. Lai veiktu šo pētījumu, bakalaura darbs ir sadalīts četrās daļās. Pirmās daļas uzmanība koncentrējas uz vēstījuma veidiem, kā arī pieejas saskaņā ar kurām vēstījums varētu būt pētīts. Pie tam ir analizēti dažādu veidu vēstītāji, katrs ar savām īpatnībām. Nākošā daļa atspoguļo angļu romāna vēsturisko attīstību no tā pirmsākuma līdz Viktorijas periodam. Trešā un ceturtā daļas ir veltītas Brontē māsu romānu salīdzīnošai analīzei. Lai sasniegtu galveno mērķi dotajā bakalaura darbā ir izmantoti dažas ievērojamas literatūras viedokļi un kritika. The present Bachelor Paper under the title Comparative Analysis of Narrative Strategies in Emily Bronte’s “Wuthering Heights” and Charlotte Bronte’s “Jane Eyre” deals with the analysis of two novels based on their similar narrative features. To complete this investigation, the paper is divided into four main chapters. The focus of attention of the first chapter is types of narrative as well as the approaches according to which narrative might be explored. What is more, different kinds of narrators are presented with characteristic features of each. The next chapter deals with historical development of the English novel from its beginning till Victorian period. The third and the fourth chapters are devoted to comparative analysis of the Bronte sisters’ novels. In addition, some famous theoretical literary critics and opinions are employed in the present Bachelor Paper in order to reach the main goal.
