Adekvāta un pieņemama franču politiķu personvārdu atveide latviešu valodā

Abstract

Pētījuma mērķis ir noteikt precīzus franču īpašvārdu atveides variantus latviešu valodā un izveidot glosāriju ar pareiziem franču vārdu un uzvārdu atveidojumiem latviešu valodā. Pētījuma uzdevumi ir analizēt dažādas tulkošanas teorijas un atrast labāko īpašvārdu atveidošanai; aprakstīt citvalodu īpašvārdu atveides vēsturisko attīstību; savākt pieejamos materiālus par noteikumiem citvalodu īpašvārdu atveidei; Eiropas Savienības dokumentos sameklēt franču īpašvārdu atveides variantus; atveidot franču īpašvārdus saskaņā B. Bankavas norādījumiem; salīdzināt autora izveidotos franču īpašvārdu atveidojumus ar ES dokumentos atrastajiem atveidojumiem saskaņā ar autora izvirzītajiem kritērijiem un izveidot glosāriju ar pareiziem franču īpašvārdu atveidojumiem latviešu valodā. Ar vēsturiskās metodes palīdzību pētījumā analizēta īpašvārdu atveides vēsturiskā gaita sākot no16. gs. līdz mūsdienām, aprakstošā metode tika izmantota, lai savāktu materiālus par dažādām tulkošanas teorijām, apkopotu noteikumus par citvalodu īpašvārdu atveidi latviešu valodā – MK noteikumi Nr. 114 „ Noteikumi par personvārdu rakstību un lietošanu latviešu valodā, kā arī to identifikāciju” un norādījumus tieši par franču valodas īpašvārdu atveidi latviešu valodā – Baiba Bankava „Franču īpašvārdu atveide latviešu valodā”. Praktiskās daļas izveidei tika izmantota empīriskā metode, lai savāktu pētījuma saturam nepieciešamos datus – franču personvārdus un to atveidojumu variantus latviešu valodā un analītiskā metode, lai tos analizētu atbilstoši darba autora izvirzītajiem kritērijiem. Pētījumā tika secināts – personvārdi tāpat kā jebkura cita valodas vienība ir iztulkojami. MK noteikumos nr. 114 trūkst paraugu un sniegtie norādījumi par citvalodu personvārdu atveidi latviešu valodā ir pārāk vispārināti, tos nevar izmantot, atveidojot franču izcelsmes personvārdus. B.Bankavas grāmatā „Franču īpašvārdu atveide latviešu valodā” sniegtie norādījumi visprecīzāk skaidro, kā atveidot franču cilmes personvārdus latviešu valodā, taču tie nav pilnīgi. Atveidojot franču personvārdus ir jāņem vērā gan to oriģinālā izruna, gan vēsturiskās tradīcijas franču vārdu un uzvārdu atveidē, kā arī latviešu valodas gramatikas nosacījumi un norādījumi par franču personvārdu atveidi latviešu valodā. Pētījuma rezultātā ir izveidots glosārijs ar pareiziem franču izcelsmes vārdu un uzvārdu atveidojumiem latviešu valodā. Pētījums satur 67 lapas, 8 nodaļas, 13 apakšnodaļas, 8 tabulas, 1 glosāriju ar franču izcelsmes vārdu atveidojumiem, 1 glosāriju ar franču izcelsmes uzvārdu atveidojumiem, 20 bibliogrāfiskos nosaukumus. Atslēgvārdi – vārds, uzvārds, personvārdu atveide, kritērijs, atbilstība, norādījumi.

The objective of this research is to determine the accurate reproductions of French proper names in Latvian and create a glossary with correct reproductions of French first names and surnames in Latvian language. The tasks of the research is to analyze various theories of translation and find the best one for the proper name reproduction; describe the historical development of the foreign proper name reproduction`s traditions in the territory of Latvia; collect the materials available on the rules of foreign proper name reproduction; search for French politicians proper name reproductions in the documents of the European Union; reproduce the French proper names according to the indications given by B. Bankava; compare the reproductions made by the author with reproductions found in EU documents according to the criteria given by the author and create a glossary with the correct reproductions of French proper names in the Latvian language. The historical method was used to study the historical development of the reproduction of proper names from the 16th century to nowadays, the descriptive method was used to collect materials about various theories of translation, rules about the reproduction of foreign proper names in Latvian - MK noteikumi No. 114 “Noteikumi personvārdu rakstību a lietošanu latviešu valoda, kā arī to identifikāciju” and the instructions of French proper name reproduction - Baiba Bankava “Francu īpašvārdu atveide latviešu valoda”. For the practical part we used the empirical method to gather all the data of the body of the research – French proper names and their reproduction variants in Latvian language and the analytic method to analyze them according to the criteria given by the author of the research. In the research it is concluded – proper names of people are translatable as any other linguistic unit. The rules of the Cabinet of Ministers No.114 lack templates and indications are too generalized, they cannot be used for French proper name reproduction. The instructions given in the book of Baiba Bankava "Francu īpašvārdu atveide latviešu valoda" explain more precisely how to reproduce the French proper names in Latvian, but unfortunately they are not complete. In the reproduction of French proper names it is necessary to take into consideration their original pronunciation, historical traditions of French first name and surname reproduction, the rules of Latvian grammar and the instructions of French proper name reproduction. As a result of the research we have created a glossary with corrects reproductions of French first names and surnames in Latvian. The research contains 67 pages, 8 chapters, 13 subchapters, 8 tables, 1 glossary with the first name reproductions, 1 glossary with the reproductions of surnames, 20 bibliographic records.
