Sociologa profesijas izvēle

Abstract

Bakalaura darba "Sociologa profesijas izvēle" galvenais mērķis bija izpētīt studentu izvēli iegūt sociālo zinātņu bakalaura grādu socioloģijā, kā arī noskaidrot vai autores iepriekš veiktā kvantitatīvā pētījuma "Sociologa profesijas izvēle un to ietekmējošie faktori" rezultāti apstiprināsies kvalitatīvi. Lai sasniegtu darba mērķi tika veikts kvalitatīvs pētījums. Pētījuma empīriskie rezultāti tika iegūti, intervējot socioloģijas bakalaura programmas studentus no tādām Latvijas augstskolām kā Daugavpils Universitāte un Rīgas Stradiņa universitāte. No pētījma datiem izriet galvenais secinājums, ka par lēmumu studēt socioloģiju bakalaura programmā ir jārunā kā par izglītības nevis profesijas izvēli.

The aim of the Bachelor thesis "The Choise of Profession of Sociologist" is to research into student’s choices to study first degree in sociology and to understand if results of the author’s previous quantitative research "The Choice of Sociologist Profession and the Factors Affecting It" could be verified using qualitative research methods. To achieve the aim of the thesis a qualitative research was conducted. To obtain empirical data, author conducted interviews with sociology students from University of Daugavpils and Riga Stradina University. Research results indicate that the decision to study a first degree in sociology is correlated with the choice of education as opposed to future profession.
