Mācību un algota darba savienošana strādājošu studentu vidū

Abstract

Bakalaura darba galvenie mērķi ir: noskaidrot, kādas ir jauniešu stratēģijas, ikdienā savienojot studijas ar darbu; noskaidrot, cik nozīmīgi un cieši jauniešiem ir studiju biedru un kolēģu sociālie tīkli; noskaidrot, kā jauniešu vērtību sistēma saistīta ar izglītību un darbu, kā šajos sociālajos tīklos veidojas viņu identitāte. Darbā apskatīti teorētiskie materiāli par sociālajiem tīkliem, vērtībām un identitāti. Atbilstoši tēmas kritērijiem, atlasīti respondenti, ar viņiem veiktas daļēji strukturētas intervijas. Intervijām veikti transkripti un veikta interviju analīze. Galvenie bakalaura darba secinājumi: lielākā daļa respondentu uzskata, ka ikdienā veiksmīgi savieno studijas ar darbu; studentu sociālais tīkls ir ciešs ar studijām saistītos jautājumos, kolēģu sociālais tīkls vairumam ir ciešāks, pamatojoties uz kopīgām interesēm; nevar apgalvot, ka studijas vai darbs lielākajai daļai respondentu izvirzās priekšplānā kā svarīgāka vērtība; esot iesaistītam abos sociālajos tīklos, pildot abas lomas, respondentiem veidojas sajaukta identitāte.

The main goals of the bachelor’s thesis are the following: to find out the strategies used by young people combining their studies with work; to find out the importance and closeness of the social networks among study mates and colleagues of young people; to find out the connection between the system of values and studies and work and follow the development of young peoples’ identity in the social networks. The thesis researches theoretical materials on social networks, values and identity. Respondents were selected following the criteria of the topic. Partly structured interviews were taken, transcripts made and the interviews were subjects to analyses. The main conclusions of the bachelor’s thesis are the following: the biggest part of the respondents think that they have found a successful way how to combine work and studies; the social network of the students is close in the area of study related issues; the social network among colleagues for most part is closer basing on common interests; studies or work is not the main value for most respondents; presence in both social networks as well as the performance of both roles contributes to the formation of mixed identity in the respondents.
