Francijas Vidusjūras politika no konstruktīvisma perspektīvas

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir Francijas Vidusjūras politika no konstruktīvisma perspektīvas. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt, vai Francijas līderi, runājot par Vidusjūras politiku, izmanto argumentāciju, kas akcentē un veido kolektīvo identitāti šajā reģionā. Darbā izvirzītā hipotēze paredz, ka kopš 1995.gada Francijas prezidentu runās saistībā ar Vidusjūras reģionu dominē reģionālās kolektīvās identitātes veidošanas centieni. Lai pierādītu vai apgāztu hipotēzi kā metode tika izvēlēta Francijas prezidentu – Žaka Širaka un Nikolā Sarkozī - runu, kas skar Vidusjūras reģionu, analīze laika periodā no 1995.gada līdz 2009.gadam. Darba teorētiskajā daļā izvirzīti kritēriji tam, kas darbā tiek saprasts ar reģionālas kolektīvās identitātes veidošanas centieniem, kuri tika pielietoti darba empīriskajā daļā diskursa analīzē. Tika secināts, ka reģionālas kolektīvas identitātes veidošanas centieni dominē tikai Nikolā Sarkozī runās, līdz ar to ievadā izvirzītā hipotēze netika pierādīta.

Bachelor paper’s theme is “French Mediterranean politics from the constructivism perspective”. The main aim is to examine if the French policy front-runners rhetoric on the Mediterranean is based on argumentation of collective identity in the region. The papers’ hypothesis anticipates that since the year of 1995 in the French presidents’ speeches concerning the Mediterranean region dominates construction of regional collective identity. The main method to test the hypothesis was a specific Jacques Chirac’s and Nicolas Sarkozy’s speech concerning the Mediterranean analyses. The paper states that the attempts to construct a regional collective identity can be marked only in the rhetoric of French president Sarkozy, therefore it disproves the primary hypothesis.
