Bakalaura darba „Stereotipi par automašīnu zīmoliem un to ietekmi uz patērētājiem Latvijā: Opel, Volvo, BMW zīmolu analīze (2011-2012)” mērķis ir izpētīt un noteikt vai patērētāju var ietekmēt stereotipi par automašīnu Opel, Volvo, BMW zīmoliem.
Teorētiskajā daļā tiek apskatītas sekojošas teorijas: sociāli kognitīvā personības teorija, kategorizāciju teorija, personību konstruktu teorija, kā arī citas teorētiskās pieejas u.c. Darba pētniecības metodes – anketēšana, intervijas un kontentanalīze. Darba pētnieciskajā daļā skaidrots sabiedrības viedoklis un stereotipi par Opel, Volvo, BMW automašīnu zīmoliem, kā arī kritēriji, pēc kuriem patērētājs vadās iegādājoties automašīnu un lietojot automašīnu.
Darba noslēgumā daļēji apstiprinās pētnieciskās problēmas hipotēze.

The aim of the bachelor thesis „Car brands stereotypes and their influence on consumers in Latvia: Opel, Volvo, BMW brand analysis (2011–2012)” is to research and determine whether consumers can be influenced by stereotypes of car brands Opel, Volvo, BMW.
The theoretical part theories connected with psychology of individuality’s communication are observed: socially cognitive personality’s theory, theory of categorization, theory of personality’s constructivism.
In methodological part of the paper methods of research – questionnaire, interviews, and content analysis.
In the result of questionnaire made in the investigative part of the work, the opinion and stereotypes of the society are explained about Opel, Volvo, BMW car brands, as well as criteria a consumer follows purchasing a car.
