Preventīvais darbs emocionālās vardarbības pret bērnu ģimenē mazināšanā

Abstract

Diplomdarba ”Preventīvais darbs emocionālās vardarbības pret bērnu ģimenē mazināšanā” autore ir Latvijas Universitātes Socioloģijas nodaļas pēcdiploma sociālā darba profesionālās studiju programmas studente. Diplomdarba mērķis: Pētīt un analizēt prevencijas pielietojamību sociālā darba teorijā un praksē lai mazinātu emocionālo vardarbību pret bērnu ģimenē. Diplomdarbā plašāk tiek apskatīts emocionālās vardarbības raksturojums, emocionālās vardarbības pret bērnu veidi. Tiek pētīti emocionālās vardarbības pret bērnu riska faktori ģimenē.Tiek analizēti un pētīti preventīvie pasākumi emocionālās vardarbības mazināšanā ģimenēs ar bērniem, kā arī skaidrots, kāds preventīvais darbs tiek veikts emocionālās vardarbības mazināšanā Latvijā. Diplomdarbā analizēta mākslas, mūzikas, spēļu, pasaku un smilšu terapijas ieviešanas lietderība lauku kopienā, kā arī pētīti esošie un iespējamie lauku kopienas resursi emocionālās vardarbības mazināšanā. Empīriskajā daļā veikta fokusa grupas diskusija Mazsalacas novada sociālajiem darbiniekiem, lai uzzinātu darbinieku viedokli par emocionālās vardarbības specifiku, preventīvo darbu emocionālās vardarbības mazināšanā Mazsalacas novadā, veikto un veicamo preventīvo darbu novadā, analizējot problēmas būtību. Vardarbība pret bērnu ir kompleksa problēma, un tās mazināšana prasa starpinstitūciju sadarbību un profesionāļu darbu komandā, kā arī holistisku pieeju, ko savā darbībā realizē sociālais darbinieks. Sociālā darbinieka galvenais mērķis, strādājot preventīvo darbu pie vardarbības pret bērnu problēmas risināšanas, ir veicināt bērna drošību un labklājību.

The author of the graduation paper „Preventive work in reducing emotional abuse of a child in the family” is a student of University of Latvia, Department of Sociology, Social work professional study program. The goal of the paper: to investigate and analyze the applicability of prevention in the theory and practice of social work in order to reduce emotional abuse of a child in the family. The graduation paper closer surveys the characteristics of abuse and types of emotional abuse of a child. The author investigates the risk factors of emotional abuse of a child in the family. The paper analyzes and investigates the preventive measures in reducing emotional abuse, possible preventive measures for families with children, as well as summarizes and investigates the preventive work in reducing emotional abuse of a child in Latvia. The graduation paper analyzes the necessity of art, music, game , story-telling and sand therapy in rural communities. The author investigates also the preventive measures and possible resources of rural community in reducing the emotional abuse. The empirical part describes the focus group discussion of Mazsalaca region social workers, in order to find out the social workers’ opinion about the specific features of emotional abuse, preventive work in reducing emotional abuse in Mazsalaca region, the current state of the preventive work, analyzing the essence of the problem. Child abuse is a complex problem and its reduction requires cross-institutional cooperation and team work of professionals, as well as holistic approach implemented by a social worker. The main goal of the social worker implementing the preventive work as a means of solving the child’s problems is to promote the child’s security and welfare.
