Automašīnu modeļu identificēšana semantiskajā tīmeklī

Tāpat kā šodienas internets ir teksta informācijas, attēlu un citu datu krātuve, semantiskais tīmeklis ir globāla zināšanu krātuve, kurā zināšanas ir saistītas savā starpā tā, lai datori tās varētu viegli saprast un apstrādāt. Šādai krātuvei ir nepieciešami standartizēti datu apmaiņas un dažādas datu semantikas apstrādes līdzekļi.
Auto industrijā nav vienota standarta, kā pierakstīt automašīnu modeļu nosaukums, tāpēc šajā darbā tiek izpētītas iespējas izveidot tādu vienoto resursu identifikatoru (URI), lai varētu identificēt konkrētu modeli dažādos datu avotos. Tika pētītas identifikācijas iespējas un problēmas. Praktiskajā daļā tika ievākti dati par automašīnu modeļiem un izveidoti URI katram modelim. Citā tīmekļa resursā tika identificēti automašīnu modeļi, piekārtojot tiem URI, un atrastā informācija saistīta ar identificēto modeli. Just as todays Internet is a repository of textual information, images and other data, semantic web is a global repository of knowledge, where the bits of knowledge are linked with each other so that the computers could easily understand and handle it. Such repository requires standardized data exchange and data semantics of different assets.
Car industry has no standards for recording car model names, so in this work the potential of creating uniform resource identifier (URI) to identify a certain car model in different data sources is researched. Identification possibilities and the arising problems were investigated. In the practical part data about car models was gathered and URI was assigned to each model. Models in other resource were identified and tied to corresponding URI; the information found was linked to the identified model.
