The economic context and the rise of the web 2.0 permitted the development of the collaborative consumption.
The aim of this research is to analyze the context of emergence of the collaborative consumption, the pillars on which the movement is based, and the practices that gather the movement.
This research brings insights regarding motivations of consumers and their buying decision process but also obstacles that they are facing in order to understand and identify consumers’ profiles that are involved in this new way of consumption.
