Bakalaura darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā, datorsalikumā uz 41 lappusēm. Tas satur 27 attēlus, 2 tabulas, 3 formulas un 26 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem.
Darba mērķis: novērtēt pūļa efektu paracentrāli saistībā ar cilvēku lasīšanas spējām un pārbaudīt, vai labajā redzes lauka pusē pūļa efekts ir mazāks nekā kreisajā pusē.
Metode: subjekta uzdevums, fiksējot skatu uz mērķa stimulu, nosaukt vidējo burtu.
Rezultāti: pieaugot atstarpi starp burtiem, vidējā burta atpazīstamība uzlabojas - pūļa efekts samazinās. Starp labo un kreiso redzes lauka pusi vidējā burta atpazīstamība krītas. Ir atšķirība starp ātrāk un lēnāk lasošajiem. Dalībniekiem, kuri ikdienā lasa daudz vairāk, novēro mazāk pūļa efektu nekā tiem, kas nelabprāt lasa vai arī lasa to salīdzinoši lēnāk.

The aim: Evaluate crowding effect in periphery with people reading skills and to check whether the right side of the visual field the crowding effect is smaller than in the left side.
Methods: Measurements were made in the right and the left side of the visual field.
Results: It was observed that increasing the spacing between letters, the middle letter visibility improves, so the crowding effect is reduced. Between right and left visual field side the middle letter visibility reduces. Subjects, who are day to day readers, crowding effect occur in fewer than those who are reluctant to read and do it relatively slowly.
