Veicot izpētes darbu Valmieras pilsētā, iepriekš iegūtā informācija par pasaules pieredzi tiek piemērota Valmieras situācijai, lai piedāvātu vispārīgus ieteikumus velosatiksmes politikas veidošanai un aprakstītu potenciālo velosatiksmes maršrutu tīklu un tehniskos risinājumus. Darbs sarakstīts uz 63 lapām, tajā ievietoti 35 attēli un 3 tabulas.

| dc.description.abstract | This work researches bicycle traffic planning experience in the world, beginning with policy documents and ending with technical solutions for infrastructure. Situation in town of Valmiera is then explored and previously gained information about bicycle traffic planning in the world is adjusted to the situation in Valmiera. This is done to provide simple suggestions for developing bicycle traffic policy documents and describe the potential bicycle traffic infrastructure network and technical solutions required. There are 63 pages, 35 pictures and 3 tables in this work.
