Teksta un mūzikas intermediāla saspēle Tomasa Manna romānā „Doktors Fausts”

Abstract

Šajā darbā – teksta un mūzikas intermediāla saspēle Tomasa Manna romānā „Doktors Fausts” - lielākā uzmanība tiek pievērsta mūzikas tematikai, kura tiek atspoguļota Tomasa Manna romānā „Doktor Faustus”, kas kļuva par iemeslu dažādiem pētījumiem. Šī darba mērķis ir aplūkot romāna teoriju un mūzikas tēmas nozīmi romānā „Doktor Faustus”, proti, tiek izsekota romāna mākslinieciskās un kompozicionālās formas attīstība, tiek pētītas savstarpējās sakarības starp mūziku un literatūru, kā arī mūzikas ietekme uz Tomasu Mannu. Izvirzītie darba uzdevumi: pētīt romāna teoriju un aplūkot Tomasa Manna romānu koncepcijas; raksturot attiecību problēmas starp tēmām „mūziku” un „literatūru”; izpētīt komponista Arnolda Šēnberga nozīmi Tomasa Manna dzīvē; salīdzināt romāna „Doktor Faustus” kompozicionālo formu ar sonāti; analizēt Šēnberga „Jaunās Mūzikas” atspoguļojumu romānā „Doktor Faustus”. Bakalaura darba pētījumi tika balstīti uz Teodora Vīzegrunda Adorno, Arnolda Šēnberga, Mihaila Bahtina un Johana Fogta teorijām par tēmām „mūzika” un „romāns”. Tēmas analīze parādīja to, ka romāns ir lielākais darbs literatūrā, kurā tiek aprakstīti dažādi notikumi un iespaidi no dzīves. Piemēram, Tomas Manns, lai radītu savus darbus, smēlās dažādas idejas no citiem autoriem. Rakstnieks iespaidojās ne tikai no daiļliteratūras, bet arī no mūzikas, kura viņam sniedza jaunas idejas. Tomas Manns caur mūzikas valodu pauda attieksmi pret dzimteni Vāciju un attēloja savu radošo gaitu kā rakstnieks. Tomas Manns ar mūzikas valodas izteiksmes veidiem papildināja savu romānu māksliniecisko un kompozicionālo formu, proti, rakstnieks radīja „vārdu mūziku”, kura tiek atspoguļota romānā „Doktor Faustus”. Salīdzinot romāna kompozicionālo formu ar sonāti var secināt, ka tās pēc dažiem kritērijiem ir ļoti līdzīgas. Bet ļoti liela ietekme romāna mākslinieciskajā formā ir komponista Arnolda Šēnberga „Divpadsmit toņu tehnikas” mūzikai. Secinot var teikt, ka rakstnieks Tomas Manns lielu vērību pievērsa savu darbu mākslinieciskajai un kompozicionālajai formai, tāpēc katrā autora daiļradē ir savas īpatnības, kuras tiek radītas, pielietojot dažādas metodes un tehnikas no citiem mākslas virzieniem, proti, no mūzikas, mākslas, teoloģijas, matemātikas, ar kuru izteiksmes veidiem paspilgtina savu darbu valodu, radot tiem jaunu stilu. The title of the bachelor’s paper is “The intermadial Interaction of Text and Music in the novel „Doctor Faust” by Thomas Mann”, the attention has been turn to the music theme, which has been describe in this novel, which become for a reason for many research. Aim of the study is to analyse theory of the novel and meaning of the music theme in the novel „Doctor Faust”, namely, has been followed the development of the artistic and compositional form in the novel, occur research mutual connection between music and literature, as well as influence of the music to Thomas Mann. Tasks of the research paper: to analyse theory of the novel and to view conception of the novel Thomas Mann; to describe relational problems between „music” and „literature” themes; to find out the meaning of composer Arnold Schoenberg in the life of Thomas Mann; to compare the compositional form of the novel „Doctor Faust” with sonata; to analyse reflection of Schoenberg „New Moon” at the novel „Doctor Faust”. The research of the bachelor’s work is based to the theory of the „music” and „novel” theme of authors Theodor Wiesegrund Adorno’s, Arnold Schoenberg’s, Michail Bachtin and Jochen Vogt’s. The analyse of the theme showed that, the novel is the greatest work in the literature, where has been described events and impressions of the life. For example, Thomas Mann, in order to create his works has influenced from other authors. Thomas Mann through the music language expressed his attitude towards fatherland Germany and described his creative paces as writer. Thomas Mann with the locution of music language supplement the artistic and compositional form of novel, namely writer created „word music”, which has been reflected in the novel „Doctor Faust”. Comparing compositional form of the novel with sonata can conclude that those by some criterion are similar. But significant impact to the novel compositional form is music of Arnold Schoenberg „Twelve-tone technique”. Conclusion can be drawn that writer Thomas Mann, had great attention to his work artistic and compositional form, for that reason at the each work of author are their own individuality, who are created using different kind of methods and techniques of the other art directions, namely, from music, theology, mathematic with whose locution increases his work language.
