Bakalaura darbs pēta pārliecināšanas līdzekļus politiskās reklāmās. Darba mērķis bija noskaidrot pārliecināšanas līdzekļu biežumu un ietekmi ASV prezidenta vēlēšanu kampaņu reklāmās no 1952. līdz 2012. gadam, kā arī noteikt, vai pārliecināšanas līdzekļu izmantošana un izvēle ir mainījusies laika gaitā.
Šī darba petījuma metodes bija literatūras apskats, diskursa analīze un biežuma analīze. Pētījums tika veikts, izvērtējot teorētisko materiālu par diskursu, politisko reklāmu kā žanru un par pārliecināšanas līdzekļiem, kā arī analizējot reklāmās atrastos pārliecināšanas līdzekļus un nosakot to biežumu.
Darba autore nonāca pie secinājuma, ka pārliecināšanas līdzekļi ir svarīgs politisko reklāmu aspekts, kas ļauj ietekmēt sabiedrības vērtības un tās izvēles.
Šīs darbs varētu būt noderīgs žurnālistiem, lingvistiem un politologiem, veicot dažādus pētijumus, saistītus ar valodniecību vai politiku.
Atslēgas vārdi: politiskais diskurss, prezidenta vēlēšanu kampaņu reklāmas, pārliecināšan The goal of the paper is to find out the frequency and the effects of the persuasive means in the political commercials of the US presidential campaigns from 1952 to 2012 and to identify whether the use and choice of persuasive means have changed over the time or not.
The research methods used in the paper were the literature review, discourse and frequency analysis. The research was carried out by investigating the theory concerning the discourse, advertisements and concerning persuasive means and by analyzing the persuasive means found.
The author of the paper concluded that the persuasive means are the core aspect of the political commercials that enable to influence the society’s choices.
The content of the work could be captivating for the journalists, linguists and political scientists in conducting political or linguistic research.
