„BAŠKĪRIJAS LATVIEŠI” UN „BAŠKĪRIEŠI”: SPRIEDZE STARP NACIONĀLO UN SOCIĀLO REĢISTRU

Abstract

Par darba mērķi izvirzot spriedzes starp nacionālo reģistru un sociālo reģistru analīzi, Baškīrijas latviešu un baškīriešu stāsti un prakses parādās kā tādi, ko raksturo kompleksitāte un daudzveidīgas iekšējas spriedzes. Darba pamatā izvirzītā spriedze starp reģistriem kā divu dažādu ikdienišķu noskaņu samezglojumiem parāda, kā informanti vienlaikus gan veido skaidru, bieži nacionālajā lietu kārtībā balstītu Baškīrijas latviešu stāstu, gan piedzīvo Baškīriju caur tās īpašo socialitāti un savstarpējām attiecībām. Spriedze starp reģistriem darbā tiek izmantota, pirmkārt, lai raksturotu informantu pārvietotības pieredzi kā tādu, kas vienlaikus gan darbojas nacionālās lietu kārtības ietvaros, gan ir ārpus tās, otrkārt, lai raksturotu, kā par dzīvi Baškīrijā vienlaikus tiek runāts gan kā par tādu, ko raksturo latvietības kultivēšana, gan sādžas socialitāte un, treškārt, lai demonstrētu, kā Baškīrija joprojām tiek dzīvota arī Latvijas ikdienā. Darba analītiskais ietvars veidots, balstoties ‘teorijas improvizēšanā’, respektīvi, dialektiskās attiecībās starp empīriskiem datiem un teoriju.

Setting as the aim of this thesis the analysis of the tension between the registers of the national and the social, stories and practices of Bashkirian Latvians and Bashkirians appear as such, which can be characterized by complexity and variety of internal tension. The interaction between the registers as two distinct patterns of ordinary affects shows how the informants both formulate a clear-cut Bashkirian Latvian story often based on the national order of things, and experiences Bashkiria through its special relations and sociality. Tension between the registers is being used, firstly, to describe the informants’ experience of displacement as one that works both within and without the national order of things. Secondly, it is used to show how life in Bashkriria is being characterised by the informants both as a way of cultivating ‘Latvianness’ and as the specific sociality of the village. And, thirdly, to demonstrate how Bashkiria is still being lived out the everyday life in Latvia. The analytical framework of the work is built upon the premise of improvising theory, that is, by pursuing a dialectical relation between empirical data and theory.
