Zusammenfassung
Bakalaura darbs „Bērnu vārdu izvēles motīvi (balstoties uz aptaujas datiem pirmssskolas izglītības iestādēs)” tiek izstrādāts socioantroponīmikā, kas Latvijā ir maz pētīta. Bērnu vārdu izvēles motīvi ir aktuāla tēma latviešu sabiedrībā, jo arvien vairāk latviskus vārdus aizstāj citas cilmes personvārdi. Darbs balstās uz triju pirmsskolas izglītības iestāžu aptaujas datiem. Darba mērķis – ar anketas palīdzību noskaidrot bērnu vārdu izvēles motīvus un populārākos bērnu vārdus.
Darbā sniegts ieskats personvārdu vēsturē un to pētīšanā Latvijā un ārzemēs. Aprakstīti un analizēti aptaujā iegūtie materiāli par bērnu vārdu izvēli.
Konstatēts, ka biežāk lietotie vārdu izvēles motīvi ir labskanīgums, oriģinalitāte, saskaņojums ar uzvārdu, vārda nozīme u.c.

Bachelor’s degree work „Motives of Choosing Child’s Name” is developed in study of personal names that has been little studied within Latvia. Children first name choice motives are timely theme for Latvian society because more and more Latvian names are replaced by the names of foreign origin. Study is based on three kinder – gardens survey data sets. The aim of the study – to find out motives choosing child’s name and the most popular children names by a questionnaire.
This work provides an insight into the first name history and research in Latvia and abroad. There is given an analysis of the material on children name choice. As a result: the most used motives choosing the first names are the following: euphony, originality, harmonization with surname, etc.
