Ķeltu un baltu mitoloģisko sieviešu salīdzinājums

Abstract

Šī maģistra darba tēma ir ķeltu un baltu mitoloģisko sieviešu salīdzinājums. Galvenais uzsvars salīdzinošajā pētījumā ir likts uz saikņu un radniecību atklāšanu, kas izseko šo divu indoeiropiešu kultūru mitoloģisko sieviešu kopīgo izcelsmi. Tēmas mērķis ir atklāt pagātni, konstatēt vienoto tēlu avotu un noskaidrot pārmaiņas, ko tie ir pārdzīvojuši laika gaitā. Baltu un ķeltu mitoloģisko sieviešu salīdzinājums veicina jaunus atklājumus salīdzinošajā nozarē. Darba rezultāti rāda, ka daudzām ķeltu un baltu mitoloģiskajām sievietēm ir kopīga izcelsme Senās Eiropas Lielajā Mātē un ka daudzas spēcīgas indoeiropiešu dievietes ir pārņēmušas viņas aspektus, funkcijas un īpašības.

The theme of the master thesis is the comparison of Celtic and Baltic mythological women. The main focus of the comparative study is on the discovery of links and affinities that trace common origins of the mythological women of the two Indo-European cultures. The purpose of the theme is to recover the past, to establish the source of the unitary images and to clarify the changes that they underwent in the course of time. The comparison of Baltic and Celtic mythological women facilitates new discoveries in the comparative field. The results of the thesis show that many Celtic and Baltic mythological women have common origins in the Great Goddess of Old Europe and that many powerful Indo-European goddesses have adopted her aspects, functions and attributes.
