Latvijas slimnīcās pieaug rezistence pret antibakteriālajiem līdzekļiem un nozokomiālo infekciju skaits. Galvenais KONS - Staphylococcus epidermidis virulences faktors ir spēja veidot biofilmas jeb bioplēves.
S. epidermidis noteikšanai visbiežāk lieto tādas molekulārās tipēšanas metodes kā PFGE, MLST un SCCmec tipēšanu.
Darba mērķis ir izmēģināt un izvērtēt MLST genotipēšanas metodi S. epidermidis epidemioloģiskai izpētei Latvijā.
Pētījuma rezultātā vesela cilvēka mikroflorā tika novērota klonu daudzveidība, tas pierāda S. epidermidis ģenētisko dažādību. Sešiem S.epidermidis celmiem no viena pacienta bez S.epidermidis infekcijas pazīmēm, bija raksturīgi trīs MLST varianti (ST tipi), kas mainījās, atradoties intensīvas terapijas nodaļā vairākas dienas. Viens S. epidermidis celms no hemokultūras tika noteikts kā MRSE ar jaunu sekvenču tipu ST 483. Atslēgvārdi:Staphylococcus epidermidis, nozokomiālās infekcijas, KONS, MLST. The main Staphylococcus epidermidis virulence factor is the ability to form a biofilm. Biofilm increases microorganism resistance to antibacterials and the body's defenses expression. There is an increasing antibacterial resistance and nosocomial infections in Latvia’s hospitals.
For S. epidermidis determination most common molecular tipping methods are such as PFGE, MLST and SCCmec typology.
The aim of this study was to introducē and evaluate the MLST genotyping method for S. epidermidis epidemiological studies in Latvia.
In the result of study In healthy human microflora clonal diversity was observed, that proves S. epidermidis genetic diversity. S.epidermidis six strains from the same patient were represented by three ST variants that changed while in intensive care unit for several days. In a patient with confirmed bacteremia, S. epidermidis strain from hemoculture was detected as MRSE with new ST 483.Keywords:Staphylococcus epidermidis, nosocomial infections, CONS, MLST.
